Challenge:
KONE engineers and maintains industry-leading elevators, escalators and moving walkways. Like many employers, KONE wanted to move the majority of employees into its high-deductible health plan, but needed to educate employees about the advantages and risks. Other changes, such as a new online enrollment system, also had to be explained.
Solution:
Biscom created a user-friendly newsletter, a series of HTML email reminders, a postcard, poster and separate benefit summaries for nonunion and union employees, as well as a version for new hires. We also created materials highlighting specific topics, including an HTML email on free flu shots and a poster on health care screenings.
